Silence

When the curtain falls,
And the world stops still,
The wonders of silence shall emerge
With a deafening crack
And a blinding brightness.

As we tend to lives of infinite pace
This dying silence will remind
You of why it’s divine to get lost
In moments of introspection and quiet.

And when all is said and done,
Peace will it emanate,
Providing space to breathe and discover
For, a calm mind can be a dangerous weapon.
