Bleeding Colours

Take a step back and
Watch as the colours bleed through the parchment,
And onto the white linen below.
Creating patterns and designs so intricate
That believing it was,
Brought into existence by accident
Is a task in itself.

The beauty in chaotic randomness,
And the intricacy of a chance happening,
Makes you question the
The structures that define and support lives.
All the crystal and concrete
That must have taken hours to be conceived,
Fail before this sight
That shouldn’t have been.

Maybe a chink in the story,
A chance happening at the pinnacle of chaos
Bleeding beauty throughout,
And birthing this life of colour
Is all any of us are.

Thoughtfully yours
D
